Shipments to the Canary Islands

We ship to the Canary Islands via GLS.
Due to their specific tax regime, shipments to the Canary Islands are subject to customs procedures.

Customs procedures

Bidi covers transportation to destination and the necessary customs procedures for the departure of goods from mainland Spain and initial processing.

Upon entry into the Canary Islands, Customs may apply IGIC and, where applicable, other taxes.

These charges will be managed by the carrier and must be paid by the customer before or at the time of delivery, depending on the procedure.

IGIC

IGIC (Canary Islands General Indirect Tax) replaces VAT in the Canary Islands and is calculated based on the declared value of the goods. The amount is determined by Canary Islands Customs.

Additional costs

The cost of import DUA and IGIC may vary depending on the carrier and the order value.
For small orders, these amounts are usually low.

The carrier or customs authorities will inform the customer if any additional payment is required to complete delivery.

We recommend customers in the Canary Islands review these costs before placing an order to avoid issues or unexpected charges.
